Someone is killing beautiful young hipsters on L.A.’s East Side. But while the bloody trail is cold for the apathetic detectives, Charlie, a crime scene cleaner with Sherlockian tendencies, finds an unusual clue in the demo CD of an indie band left behind at a murder scene. From there, Todd Berger’s feature-length murder mockumentary takes viewers on a frenzied chase for the killer, who appears to be making an experimental film of his own.
